Born to Nigerian parents in 1984 in Providence, Rhode Island, Felyne who featured Dunkin a Uk Based singer/promoter in “I dont Care”, is presntly in Nigeria promoting her new song.
Felicia grew up singing in the church choir at the age of 13 years in Irvington, NJ, her current place of residence and graduated from Kean University, Union, NJ. Her aggressive, vocal, unique and watchful personality inspired her to create a unique and dynamic form of Hip Hop NajHip a fusion of Hip Hop and Nigerian music.
The licensed cosmetologist and shoe designer is presently in Nigeria promoting her singles.
Felyne experienced and observed the disconnect that many youths born of foreign parent but raised in America encountered with Hip Hop. As a result, she decided to do something about it, thus, the genesis of “NajHip”.
The mission of “NajHip” according to her “is to help music lovers cope with personal life struggles through music”. Felyne’s artistic talents are not limited to singing, she is also a choreographed dancer, rapper, a unique, dynamic fashion designer.
To date, Felyne has performed in various states such as New Jersey , New York etal. She performed at the recent Green White Green carnival held on October to commemorate Nigeria’s independent anniversary. The pretty damsel will soon be embarking on a world tour this month.
