Nigerian born UK based singer, Deweaves is currently in Nigeria to promote his works. He’s taken off with a video shoot for his new single, Tingengen, which was directed by popular director, DJ Tee. Cameos in the video include singers Jahbless, Steel and Klever Jay.
According to the Afro Hip Hop/R&B artiste, the video will start airing from July as soon as DJ Tee finishes with the post production. Speaking on his choice of word play and style of music generally, Deweaves says “ with the use of different languages I have created a certain fundamental way of expressing myself which makes my music different from any other Afro Hip Hop artiste in the world. Indeed my lyrics comprise of emotional, innovative, respectful and encouraging words which anybody can relate to and understand regardless of race, ethnicity or culture”.
Dewaves, is said to be a close ally to Alexander Amosu, designer of the most expensive suit in the world. Dewaves has proven himself a confident performer on stages like those of the NottingHill Carnival, MTN/Nigezie Valentine party, Kennis Music Easter Fiesta, Nigerian Fashion show, Kanu Heart foundation Lunch Party London and Dynamix Awards.
