In spite of losing out in the BET Awards 2010 which held in Los Angeles last Sunday, Africa’s pop Hip Hop twins- P-Square have continued on their tour around the United State. An elated Peter, the Usher-look-alike of the duo, have kept time to time updates on his twitter time line. He tweeted on Monday, “2 (two) hours on stage 4 (for) us in all the cities we are billed 2 (to) perform here in the U.S….nmmmhh..management just confirmed…wahala dey!”.
The tour tagged ‘P-Square 2010 USA Tour’ unsurprisingly features singer, producer and friend, Jay Martins, kicked off yesterday in Houston Texas, and will move to Los Angeles tomorrow. Oakland and Minneapolis is scheduled for next weekend and then Maryland and Washington on the 17th. More performances are lined up in the city of New York and Toronto, Canada.
The duo who have repeatedly bragged about conquering Africa, since they have performed and are popular in many African countries, are putting behind their series of tenant/landlord bickering and are perhaps trying to erase all memories of locally organised awards where they’ve not been ‘rightly’ honoured.
They are expected back in the country, at the end of July when they will hopefully commission their twin duplex nearing completion.
