This, in effect, means the juju music King is sacrificing the celebration of his 64th birthday, which comes up on September 22nd,for the burial of his mother.
King Sunny Ade himself noted this while inaugurating a seven- man committee for the burial programme.The committee which comprises eminent professionals, is headed by a close associate of the musician,Mr Clement Ige.
The juju musician said that to cater for all shades of interests, particularly his fans and patrons, the events for the burial are to take place in both Lagos and Ondo States .
King Sunny Ade particularly appeals to interested parties to contact the head of the committee in order to avoid those who have been contacting people without his mandate .
